At Kristianopel Resort, we place great importance on ensuring that you as a guest feel safe and secure with us, which also includes the handling and storage of your personal data. We continuously work to improve and stay up to date with current legislation to remain at the forefront. Handling your personal data in a careful and responsible manner is something we take very seriously.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect information that helps us provide our services via Paxess to you, which includes:

Emailfor booking confirmations and communication
Nameto identify your booking
Address detailsfor invoicing and correspondence
Phone numberfor contact when needed

In addition, we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type and browsing behavior via Google Analytics and potentially Facebook Pixel for marketing purposes.

How is the information used?

We collect this data for several reasons. Partly to make your booking and stay with us possible and as smooth as can be, but also to send you information, offers and newsletters.

In line with GDPR legislation, we collect as little personal data about you as possible.

Google Analytics is used to analyze website traffic and improve the user experience. Facebook Pixel may be used for targeted marketing on social media.

How long is the information stored?

Information stored for the purpose of sending offers or newsletters will be retained until you withdraw your consent.

Data registered at the time of booking is stored for as long as you choose to be a guest with us. If you no longer wish to be a guest and want your information deleted, you can contact us at any time.

Do you share my personal data with third parties?

Kristianopel Resort uses a booking system called Paxess, whose parent company is based in Sweden and is therefore also subject to GDPR legislation. We have full control over the database that Paxess provides.

We use Google Analytics for website analytics and may use Facebook Pixel for marketing. These services may process anonymized data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Beyond this, no other parties have access to your personal data.

Where is the information stored?

Your information is stored on servers within the European Union and we use advanced IT systems that ensure the storage of your data is secure.

What rights do I have?

Right of access

If you wish, you may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.

Right to rectification

If you believe your information is in any way incorrect and needs to be corrected, you have the right to request this.

Right to erasure

If you want your personal data held by us to be deleted, you may request this. Provided that no law (such as accounting legislation) prevents us from removing them, we will carry out such a deletion.
