When does my booking become binding?
Both you and we are bound by the booking as soon as we have confirmed it and you have paid a deposit, where applicable, or in other cases paid the full rental amount.
Here you will find our terms and conditions for booking camping, cabins and other accommodation at Kristianopel Resort.
We have a minimum age requirement of 20 years for accommodation at Kristianopel Resort. This does not apply to families with children.
As a rule, cabins are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure. For camping sites, check-out is at 12:00 and check-in from 14:00. In the event of circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to relocate you to equivalent accommodation.
Both you and we are bound by the booking as soon as we have confirmed it and you have paid a deposit, where applicable, or in other cases paid the full rental amount.
After booking your site, you will receive an invoice by email within 1 week. When booking more than 40 days before arrival, you have at least one month to pay — see the date and amount on the invoice. When booking less than 30 days before arrival, the invoice must be paid immediately.
You can also book on our website and pay directly by card.
If you do not pay on time when payment is due, we will cancel your booking. If you fail to pay by the deadline, we treat this as a cancellation on your part and the cancellation terms will apply. If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
You may cancel verbally or in writing. If you have not purchased cancellation protection, no refund will be given.
Cancellation protection must be purchased at the time of booking and takes effect 30 days before arrival. The protection means you can cancel up to and including the day before arrival and receive a refund of the rental fee, less the cancellation protection fee and an administration cost (500:-), in the following cases: death, serious illness or accident affecting you, your spouse, partner, family member or fellow traveler, or being called up for military or civil defense service.
If a serious event beyond your control occurs that you could not have foreseen at the time of booking and that makes it unreasonable to require you to honor your booking, such as a major fire or flood in your home. You must be able to document your impediment with a certificate from, for example, a doctor, authority or insurance company.
If we fail to provide the cabin/camping site at the agreed time and cannot offer you equivalent accommodation, you have the right to terminate the agreement. In that case, we must refund everything you have paid. Instead of terminating the agreement, you may request a reduction of the rental fee.
If you have any complaints, these should be brought to our attention as soon as possible. Defects that occur during your stay should be reported immediately so that we can rectify them.
You are responsible for reading your booking confirmation and ensuring that dates and unit number are correct. You must take good care of the cabin/camping site and comply with all applicable rules.
You are liable for any damage to the cabin and its furnishings/camping site caused by negligence on your part or by anyone in your party. You are also responsible for ensuring that everyone staying at or visiting your site/cabin follows the campsite's rules regarding quiet hours, etc. If you breach the rules, we reserve the right to charge a disturbance fee equivalent to the costs we have incurred.
You may not use the cabin/camping site for any purpose other than what was agreed at the time of booking. Nor may you allow more people to stay overnight than was stated at the time of booking. You must clean the cabin according to the instructions. If you fail to do so, cleaning will be carried out at your expense. (Departure cleaning can be ordered at reception no later than one week before departure.)
Both you and we have the right to withdraw from the rental agreement if the cabin/camping site cannot be provided due to natural disaster, acts of war, labor disputes, prolonged interruption of water or energy supply, fire or similar events that neither you nor we could foresee or influence.
In such cases, we are obliged to refund you, less any benefit you may have had from the cabin/camping site.
Please bring any complaints to us. Please note that your chances of obtaining a remedy may decrease if you delay making your complaint. If we cannot reach an agreement, you may contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
We reserve the right to make price changes, correct printing errors and make changes that are not yet known as of today's date.
